It’s been pouring buckets here lately because of a tropical storm named Maring. Most areas in Manila and some parts of Luzon were covered in water(including our place, though not as deep as other places). It really is heart breaking seeing all the sad news on TV about those who were greatly affected. Some have lost their homes while some have even lost their lives.

Good thing, we still have this “bayanihan” trait within us which makes us all unite in helping each other during times like this. But inspite of the challenges this typhoon brought us(just like in the past typhoons we’ve encountered), we Filipinos could still find ways to make each other feel better. We could still smile, find humor and be positive amidst any crisis. Indeed, it’s more fun in the Philippines!
